Democrats from Southern Denton County converged on Tierney's Cafe and Tavern Tuesday night to watch returns and celebrate President Obama's re-election. Democratic candidate for State Representative in district 65, Gary Brown attended. Brown was defeated by Republican Ron Simmons, but brought in a respectable 38.6% of the vote, out-performing all other Democrats on the ballot in Denton County.
