In a letter to President Obama Senator "Big Bad John" Cornyn and the Texas Republican congressional delegation threw a hissy fit about any possible relocation of Gitmo detainees to federal facilities in Texas.
Why? Because the big bad terrorists will come target these facilities, and "Big Bad John" and his merry band of walking group-think are scared that federal prisons that guard our most dangerous serial killers can't manage to hang on to a bunch of flip-flop wearing detainees, many of whom were children when they were picked up for being in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Quake in your boots, you bunch of losers. Go ahead and live your lives in fear. Feed your fear, so that it will eat you from the inside out.
As far as I'm concerned, they can build a new federal prison in Lewisville to house these detainees. I'll even volunteer to work a few shifts with my trusty rifle at the ready. Most of you wusses wouldn't know the first thing about that, would you? Volunteering, or using a rifle for something besides riling up the base...
Keep it up, Republicans. You've played the fear card until it's played out. I'm sure the base loves that shit - the ones you have left, anyway.
