Early Voting Off to Typical Start in Lewisville

Open in new windowYesterday was the first day of early voting in the Lewisville City and LISD elections.

According to City Secretary Julie Heinze, there were 84 voters in the first day, 24 at City Hall and 60 at the Municipal Annex.

Yesterday was rainy, so it is expected that today will bring a more steady turnout.

By this afternoon the city reports that there had been about 400 voters so far.
