Open in new windowOpen in new windowWell, look at that; it's Thursday and once again, I've fallen behind on posting links. Now that I look at the big pile of stuff that's been stacking up, some of them are now stale.

City Council notes from the November 5th meeting.

Another brilliant criminal.

Marcus High School and Hebron High School took first and second place respectively in the state band tournament.

Interesting how it's the red states that seem to have the highest growth in food stamp usage.

What your media diet says about your politics.

This editorial in the Washington Times tries to make the point that the Obama administration's support of a UN Arms Treaty is some sort of back-door way of undermining Americans' 2nd amendment rights. I think that's absurd. Not only do politicians have no appetite for that fight, but there's no way that American judges would put a UN treaty in front of the U.S. Constitution.

John McCain misses a Senate intelligence committee briefing on Benghazi, so that he can hold a press conference to bloviate about how there should be more investigations and committees on it. When asked why he missed the briefing if he had such concern about it, he couldn't answer, so he blew up at the reporter. Time to retire. He should have quit while he was ahead, and still had some respect. Here is what the Senators who did attend the briefing were shown.
