Poster: WhosPlayin Posted: 2009/12/21 21:19:17 It passed in tonight's Council meeting, kicking off a 30 day comment period. It should be noted that Councilman Thornhill wants to ensure that the actual on-the-ground inspector has the qualifications. Councilman Durham wanted to clarify that the public should not expect a 30 day comment period on everything, but as City Manager Claude King explained, it is done now on oil and gas issues because the public and industry stakeholders may have varying opinions. This blog was probably partially to blame for that because of some hellraising we did last year. (Not my best writing, but what can I say? I was peeved) We'll post a link to the public comment website as soon as we get it. |
