Poster: Anonymous Posted: 2010/8/27 22:43:01 I am a long time district patron and am most interested to see what develops here. Make no bones about it, all these records should be public and if ANYONE spend ANY DISTRICT MONIES for PERSONAL GOODS OR SERVICES they should be strung up by their toe nails. I do not even care if a reimbursement was made or not. District cards should ONLY be used for District purchases. If ANY employee or Board member fails to understand that and that misunderstanding manifests itself with questionable purchases of ANY AMOUNT, the party in question needs to be held accountable in the most extreme fashion. As supposed stewards of the public trust, this is MOST UNACCEPTABLE. With that said, the District still needs your vote on the 2 cent increase. Make no mistake, a failed election will result in the dismantling of programs and staff layoffs which will further erode the quality of education in the community. Hell, for that matter, a successful vote will only result in about 1/3 of the necessary funds to balance the budget and will result in some program cuts and staff cuts. String the scofflaws up but support the schools and our kids! |
