I know that LISD has to count the kid as a dropout if they can't find record of the kid going to another school somewhere, but I'm not sure what happens if the kid moves out of the district. I suspect some portion of the number may consist of kids who leave the country. But I'm just not sure. What we know is that this pattern exists at other LISD schools (Marcus and FM), but orders of magnitude lower than LHS. |
