Poster: DCDiva Posted: 2012/7/12 9:41:31 I personally felt the booing was in poor taste. Complete silence would have been a more respectful and effective way of getting the point across. Civil discourse in our country has become mean spirited. I disagree with many people but I try my hardest not to be rude. I am no fan of Gov. Perry but I always try to refer to him as "Governor" Perry. It always irritates me when people especially newscasters refer to President Obama as "Obama". It's way past time to be respectful and make our case with facts to back them up rather than acting like children who didn't get our way and are now throwing a tantrum. |
